John Beal, a senior at West Bloomfield High School is signing to play Baseball at Henry Ford College. He plans to Major in Mechanical Engineering.
John has played baseball since he was 6 years old, competing with many different summer teams leading up to his high school career. He has most recently played on the College Connect Michigan Red Sox.
John played JV baseball his sophomore year and moved up to Varsity towards the end of the season. John started on Varsity his junior year with his team finishing third overall in their league. He is excited for this upcoming season and what the varsity team will accomplish. This upcoming season John will be a second year Varsity player and a first year team captain.
“I want to thank God for giving me the ability and opportunity to be able to continue my academic and athletic career. I also want to thank my parents and family for always supporting me and being my biggest fans. I especially want to thank my Dad for always working with me, always pushing me to get better, and teaching me many important things along the way. I want to thank all of my coaches and teammates who joined me on my journey and helped me better myself as an athlete. I am extremely excited and grateful to be able to continue the next chapter of my life as a Hawk.”
