Rico Iglesias led the Lakers to a 6th place finish at the Dearborn Elite with an 85 and just fell outside of getting a medal. Following close behind was Jake Ward who posted an 88 despite a slow start. Ryan Denawetz and Ben Schneyer were twinning with 91’s. Stealing the show was Brenden Treadwell who overcame a bad back and a pull cart that literally disintegrated under the pressure of the Dearborn Elite Tournament. Brenden also chipped in on hole 15 to shoot a 104. The boys shot almost 40 strokes better than they did two years ago at this same tournament. Good job Lakers!
