The West Bloomfield Middle School 8th Grade White team came ready to compete and put together a great performance against Detroit Country Day Middle School, earning a 2–1 victory! The team stepped up throughout the match, demonstrating a strong defensive system while also challenging themselves to be more aggressive and confident on offense. The girls’ hard work paid off, finishing the night with 21 aces, 8 kills, and 2 blocks. It was exciting to see the team continue to build confidence, trust one another, and push themselves to make plays in all aspects of the game. Great job, Lakers! Coach Valencia
