The Lakes Area Skate Team wrapped up their regular season on February 21, 2026. In the overall district standings for spins, jumps, and skating skills, our A Team took 2nd place, B Team took 4th place, and C Team took 2nd place. As the top two teams from each of the six districts qualify for the state competition, both our A and C teams will compete for the High School Figure Skating State Title this Sunday, March 22, at the Novi Ice Arena. Additionally, the Individual Skater Competition will take place this Saturday, March 21. Skaters will perform choreographed routines to music, combining technical elements with artistic performance.
