The West Bloomfield Middle School Wrestling Team traveled to Royal Oak High School on Saturday, March 21st for the 2026 COMSAC League Tournament. The Lakers put on an impressive display throughout the day, finishing with a record of 75-38 (66%). They recorded the most falls out of all 9 teams with 59! Out of the 32 wrestlers that competed, 23 of them placed in the top 4 of their weight class (21 total weight classes)! WB claimed 8 Champions, 6 Runner-Ups, 5 Third Place, and 4 Fourth Place! *No team scores were kept during the tournament to determine final team standings. Our WB place winners include: 1st Place- Jaxon Booze, Becket Hitchcock, Brandon Smith, Roman Garcia, Jace Vining, Major Lee, Aaron Threets, & Nicholas Andric 2nd Place- Andrew Canty III, Logan DeGrand, Kassir McWilliams, Noah Ausi, Zaiden Dinkins, & Jayden Allen 3rd Place- Brandon Stokes, Sebastian Morandini, Korey Hall, Leon Langs Jr., & Matthias Hitchcock 4th Place- Gwen Lenter, Joseph Goidosik, Elijah Dooley, & Jeremiah Evans Honorable Mention (.500 record or better)- Noel Davis Congratulations West Bloomfield Middle School Wrestling on a phenomenal storybook season! WBHS Wrestling will be welcoming a strong 9th grade class next year, and WBMS Wrestling will be looking to run it back next season with two great returning classes and a promising incoming 6th grade class.
