The young JV team showed great poise in its opener on Friday. They fell behind by nine runs early but never gave up. In the bottom of the fourth, the Lakers scored five runs to cut the deficit to four. Unfortunately, they couldn't complete the comeback and ultimately fell 13-5. Solid hitting performances Ryan Brockdorf with an RBI Double and Hendrix Rojas with a bases clearing Triple. On the mound two of the three pitchers had 0 earned runs and most of the runs allowed were due to errors. As stated this is essentially a freshman team playing JV but we are encouraged going forward and will strive to develop each one of them . Next up Walled Lake Central on Wednesday 3/25.
