Fueled by a 4 run 5th and a 6 run 6th inning, the host Lakers blew open a low scoring affair and won going away, finishing off Walled Lake Central 11-1. Connor Strong, 4 IP, 2 hits and 2 strikeouts and Zev Gross, 2 innings pitched, no hits and 1 strikeout held the opponents at bay until the bats came alive. Gross earned his first varsity win. Jalen Morgan, 2-4 with a double, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI, Danny Owens went 2-3 with a run scored, Jacob Hughey stayed hot, finishing 2-3 and a run scored, Logan Scheidt went 1-2 with a double and an RBI, Mason Ermis finished 1-3 with an RBI, Bryce Tillman-Jones went 1-4 with an RBI and 2 runs scored and both Branislav Stojanovski and Lewis Donaldson had a hit and drove in 2 runs to round out the scoring.
