The West Bloomfield Girls Varsity Soccer team returned home on Thursday, March 26th and delivered a commanding performance against Wayne Memorial, earning an 8–0 mercy-rule victory with 30 minutes still remaining in the match. From the opening whistle, the Lakers set the tone and controlled play on both sides of the field. Sarina Khatchadourian led the offensive effort with four points, while also delivering two well-placed corner kicks that resulted in assists. Noor Bamarhool contributed two goals, and Kelly Myles added another to the tally. Ariana Scott found the back of the net on a strong header off a corner kick and played a key role in the attack, assisting both Bamarhool and Khatchadourian. Team captain Natalie Rebtoy anchored the midfield with poise, recording four assists and consistently creating scoring opportunities throughout the match. West Bloomfield showcased strong teamwork, ball movement, and defensive discipline in securing the shutout victory. The Lakers look to carry this momentum forward as they continue their season.
