West Bloomfield continued its early-season slate Thursday against Bloomfield Hills, falling 24–1. The Lakers showed continued defensive growth, again playing a clean game without committing an error while handling multiple chances in the field. Offensively, West Bloomfield broke through for its first run of the season when Joy Jones scored on a headfirst slide at home, highlighting the team’s aggressive approach on the bases. Jones also led the Lakers at the plate. Jaelynn Randolph started in the circle and competed against a strong Bloomfield Hills lineup. West Bloomfield continues to gain valuable experience and will look to build on these positives moving forward.
