The West Bloomfield High School Boys Junior Varsity Lacrosse team continued their strong early-season momentum with an impressive 10–4 victory over Farmington United on the road. The win marks the Lakers’ second consecutive road triumph, showcasing the team’s growing confidence and cohesion. West Bloomfield set the tone early with disciplined play on both ends of the field. Defensively, the Lakers were anchored by standout performances from Dmytro Sheptak and Jacob Barbour, who consistently disrupted Farmington United’s offensive rhythm and limited quality scoring opportunities. Offensively, Gavin Anderson delivered a dominant performance, recording a hat trick in a single quarter and providing a spark that helped separate the Lakers from their opponent. His scoring surge energized the sideline and shifted momentum firmly in West Bloomfield’s favor. At the faceoff circle and across the field, Nico Papillo, Jack Jozwick, and De’Andre Jude played pivotal roles in controlling possession and contributing in all phases of the game. Their effort and versatility helped the Lakers maintain pressure and dictate the pace throughout the contest. With back-to-back road wins under their belt, the Lakers JV squad continues to build a strong foundation for the season ahead, demonstrating teamwork, resilience, and a commitment to improvement.
