The host Lakers looked to rebound from suffering their first loss of the season and Jonathon Bowers took the ball for Fridays game against Royal Oak. Bowers was superb, throwing a complete game shutout, needing just 67 pitches while allowing just 4 hits and fanning 6. Connor Smith finished 2-3, Adam Muhleck went 1-3 , driving in 3 runs and scoring once, Jalen Morgan was 1-3 , scoring twice, Bryce Tillman-Jones went 1-3 and drove in 1, Logan Glass finished 1-3 and Logan Scheidt scored once to pace the offense. The Lakers are now 4-1 on the young season.
