The Girls JV Tennis team won their first match of the season today 6-4 against Canton High School! Despite the very cold weather conditions, the team played amazing! There were some very close matches with some of them going to third set tiebreakers. Shoutouts go to Winnie Washington and Kamora Gray who came from behind in their third set tiebreaker through grit and determination defeating their opponents for the win!! Winners for the day were: Laureen Zoma & Ellison Mack 6-1, 7-5 Winnie Washington & Kamora Gray 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 11-9 Colette Clarke & Diya Sheth 6-3, 5-7, 10-6 Ananya Gupte & Megan Russell 6-1, 6-4 Mikayla Yatooma & Madison Jackson 6-1, 6-2 Tiana Djokic & Saniya Pokle 6-3, 7-5 The team is now 1-1 on the season. The next match is on Monday 4/13/26 at Home against Oxford High School at 4:00pm. Come on out and cheer the team on!!
