West Bloomfield opened its doubleheader against Franklin on Saturday, falling 19–0. The Lakers continued to show consistency defensively, playing another error-free game and handling their opportunities in the field with improved focus. Jaelynn Randolph led West Bloomfield at the plate with a hit and also made multiple plays defensively. Randolph got the start in the circle and competed against a strong Franklin lineup.
