The Lady Lakers returned to league play Monday night against a perennial tough opponent in Clarkston, who have gotten the better of the Lakers the past few seasons. The first quarter was neck and neck with the Wolves leading by one , and then having a 4 goal lead going into the half before pulling away in the 3rd quarter. The remainder of the game was called for weather, but considered completed due to 3 complete quarters being played. Seniors Bryn Cusack (3), Julia Amato (1), and Gurleen Kaler (1), scored for the Lakers. Senior Amelie Burtka led the team in draw controls and juniors Nadia Wilson and Layla Sharif led the team in ground balls and caused turnovers. The Lakers travel to Avondale for a Tuesday night matchup.
