The lady Lakers received their first loss of the year with a 6-3 defeat from Lake Orion. The lone win from the doubles came from the 2 doubles of Sophia Zholob and Lila Costello with a 6-3, 7-6 (5) victory. The singles played strong despite splitting the matches at 2-2. Bella Kuzminsky won handily 6-1, 6-0 at 3 singles. Puja Ravi had a little tougher time but pulled through with a 7-6, 6-2 win at 4 singles. The team is now 2-1 (1-1) and will play Groves Wednesday afternoon at home.
