West Bloomfield Varsity Lady Lakers continued to show progress at the plate in a 25-3 loss to Notre Dame Prep in Game 2 of Tuesday’s doubleheader. The Lakers collected six hits in the game and scored three runs. Lili Rodriguez led the way with two hits and an RBI, while Joy Jones added a hit and drove in a run. Anna Bilkey also contributed with an RBI, and multiple Lakers reached base as the offense showed continued improvement throughout the lineup. Defensively, West Bloomfield remained steady, again not committing an error. Bilkey led the team with four defensive chances. Notre Dame Prep recorded 16 hits in the game and was paced by a strong offensive performance from the middle of the lineup.
