West Bloomfield Varsity Softball dropped Game 1 of its doubleheader against Rochester, 18–0. Jaelynn Randolph started in the circle for the Lakers, while Rochester jumped out early behind consistent offense and plate discipline. Brooke Mellors and Joy Jones each recorded a hit for West Bloomfield. Defensively, the Lakers played a clean game and did not commit an error, with Jones leading the team in chances.
