In the first of two games against visiting Milford, the host Lakers offense exploded for 8 runs in the second inning and held on to capture game one 12-7. Lewis Donaldson went 2-4 with a double and drove in 4, Finley Carter was 3-3 with 2 runs scored, Mason Ermis was 2-3 with 2 runs scored and an RBI, Danny Owens hit his first varsity home run, Connor Strong went 1-2 with a double and 2 RBI and Bryce Tillman-Jones, Logan Scheidt and Jacob Hughey each had an RBI to round out the scoring. Jonathan Bowers started on the hill, going 3 2/3, striking out 1, Hughey went the next 2 2/3, fanning 2 and Carter finished the game, 2/3 of an inning striking out 1.
