The West Bloomfield Girls Varsity Soccer team hosted Livonia Franklin on Friday night in an out-of-conference matchup, falling 3–2 in a hard-fought contest. Despite missing several key players, the Lakers stepped up and played strong from start to finish. Natalie Rebtoy opened the scoring for West Bloomfield, converting confidently on a penalty kick. Mharei Sampson added a second goal on a breakaway, keeping the Lakers within reach throughout the match. Goalies, Tayln Rigney and Alexandria Peratsakis split time and delivered a number of key saves, showing strong effort and resilience against a persistent Livonia Franklin attack. West Bloomfield showed determination and heart throughout the match, continuing to compete at a high level against tough non-conference competition.
