The boy's varsity golf team played in the preseason OAA league tournament last Friday. The Lakers came away taking first place with an overall team score of 166. Avondale finished in second with a team score of 170, and Waterford United in third with a score of 176. West Bloomfield was led by Niklas Heinrich's 38, Zackary Morton's 41, and Bryce Coburn's 43.
