The Lady Lakers tennis team completed their third league match against troy Athens. The team tied 4-4 but by tiebreaker rules the team got the win. The lone set won by the doubles teams were the 4 doubles of Sabrina Mathew and Manya Goldstein. Unfortunately the doubles teams were swept 4-0. However, the singles players won 4-0 and swept the Athens team. Bella Kuzminsky and Puja Ravi both won 6-0, 6-0. The 2 singles of Ellena Tomaj won 6-3, 6-3. Ariella Ferguson got another victory at 1 singles with a 6-0, 7-6 (2). The team is now 3-1 (2-1) and will play the league favorite Rochester on Thursday. The match is at home at 4pm.
