Jonathan Bowers threw 5 1/3 innings of shutout ball, limiting Troy Athens to just 3 hits and no runs and Finley Carter tossed the final 1 2/3 , allowing no hits as the Lakers took the series from the 12th ranked Redhawks, winning 2-0. Lewis Donaldson drove in a run, going 1-2 while Logan Scheidt finished 2-3, Connor Strong and Jalen Morgan each had a double to back the outstanding pitching performance from the Lakers pitching staff.
