Connor Smith went the first three innings to start game one of the doubleheader Saturday, allowing 2 hits and no runs while fanning 3 and Zev Gross tossed the final two, giving up 1 hit and striking out 2 as the host Lakers took advantage of 5 errors and 4 walks enroute to the win in 5 innings due to the run rule, 10-0. Offensively, Jalen Morgan went 1-4 with a double and 4 RBI, Logan Scheidt finished 2-4 with a double and a run scored, Connor Strong and Mason Ermis each went 2-3 with 2 runs scored, Smith was 1-1 with an RBI, Vlad Stojanovski went 1-3 with 2 runs scored, Lewis Donaldson finished 1-3 with an RBI and a run scored and Logan Glass drove in a run to round out the scoring.
