Despite being down 7 players, the Girls JV Tennis team put up a strong fight against Farmington High School. Several players had to play two full matches to accommodate the Farmington team. Many players had to play with new doubles partners and had to play higher up in the lineup. Unfortunately, the team fell to Farmington 7-0 today. Players that had very tough matches but showed a lot of grit and toughness were: #1 Doubles Winnie Washington & Kamora Gray 6-3, 2-6, 7-10 #2 Doubles Maya Theobald & Colette Clarke 5-7, 6-7 (4-7) #4 Doubles Ananya Gupte & Tiana Djokic 4-6, 6-7 (0-7) The team's next match is Tuesday 4/28/26 at The Sports Club WB against St. Mary's Preparatory at 3:00pm.
