Varsity Softball Falls in Game 1 of Doubleheader to Royal Oak

Royal Oak Varsity Ravens defeated West Bloomfield Varsity Lady Lakers 24–4 on Wednesday. Royal Oak’s offense was consistent throughout, piling up 18 hits and capitalizing on extended innings to build a large lead. Jaelynn Randolph started in the circle for West Bloomfield. The Lady Lakers had some offensive highlights, including hits from Joy Jones and Peyton Dooley. Jones drove in a run, and the team showed patience at the plate, drawing six walks in the game. Randolph also contributed on the bases with three stolen bases as West Bloomfield totaled four steals overall. Despite the loss, the Lady Lakers continued to compete and showed flashes of improvement offensively. West Bloomfield will look to tighten up defensively and carry those offensive positives into their next matchup
