Our next Senior Scholar Athlete Spotlight is on Luca Gioia. Luca was a 3 year member of our Varsity Tennis team and played doubles. He took home first place in the Eisenhower tournament at 4 doubles. His favorite memory at WBHS was a comeback victory at Lake Orion that led our team to barely securing the win against them. He lost the first set and was one point away from losing in the second set. He and his teammate worked together to win in a tiebreaker. Luca will be heading to the University of Michigan this Fall to pursue Integrated Business and Engineering. He will miss all the friendships he made while at WB. Congratulations! Go Lakers!!
