Our next Senior Scholar Athlete Spotlight is on Ese Uwedjojevwe. Ese competed for four years for our Track and Field team and also four years in our basketball program as a guard. Throughout her time as a Laker, she earned multiple recognitions as a Scholar Athlete, All State Athlete, and National Competitor as well as multiple school records. One of her favorite memories for both teams were their trips to States, because it captured the energy, support, and bond they shared. Next Fall, Ese will be attending Coastal Carolina University's HTC Honors College while majoring in Biochemistry on a pre-med track. She will have a focus on Neuroscience while also competing in club track and field. She will miss the family she has built at WBHS through both school and athletics but is excited for the future! Congratulations Ese!! Go Lakers!!
