The lady Lakers varsity tennis team had their first quad tournament of the year in Holt this weekend. The team played very well all day, and came up 1 point short with a second place finish. The team scores were: Traverse City West 16, West Bloomfield 15, Holt 9, Jackson 7. Many of the flights earned individual medals today as well. Winning silver medals were: 4 doubles Manya Goldstein/ Emmaline Strange and 5 doubles Brooklynn Beatty/ Ellison Mack. Winning gold medals were: 2 singles - ellena Tomaj 3 singles - Bella Kuzminsky 4 singles - Puja Ravi 2 doubles- Lila Costello/ Sophia Zholob The team went 2-0-1 today and added to their record with a 6-2-2 record for the year. The team will play Brighton on Monday at home. Come out and cheer your Lakers.
