In the division one region 2 matchup , the Lady Lakers fell to the River Rats 4-6 on Friday night. The Laker defense was lights out during the second and third quarter, only allowing 1 shot on goal. Juniors Nadia Wilson and Layla Sharif led the team in caused turnovers. Junior goalie Layla Kalanquin saved 6 of 12 shots faced. Seniors Julia Amato (2) and Amelie Burtka (1) scored for the Lakers followed by junior Kiera Pratt with one goal in the second half. The Lakers return to league play with a road game to Rochester on May 6th.
