In spite of having only 9 players playing in our match against Brighton High School today, the team was determined to play tough and do their best to persevere under the circumstances. Six players had to play three matches and three players had to play two matches in order to accommodate Brighton's team of 23 players. Although the team was determined to fare well today, they were at a great disadvantage and they fell to Brighton 11-1. The doubles team of Maya Theobald and Ananya Gupte had our only win for the day where they won 8-5 during their 2nd match. Their third match for the day was a tough one as they lost 8-6. Special shoutout to the nine players that showed their true commitment to the team today and played their hearts out. These players that deserve to be recognized for their commitment to the team today are: Maya Theobald, Ananya Gupte, Colette Clarke, Diya Sheth, Megan Russell, Madison Jackson, Amya Stallworth, Szilvia Laszlos, and Angela Jarjis. The team's next match is on Tuesday 5/5/26 at WBHS at 4:00pm against Berkley High School. Come cheer the team on!!
