The Lady Lakers varsity tennis team played the #6 Groves team on Wednesday afternoon. Despite one of the best performances all year, the team were a few points short and fell 5-3. Ellena Tomaj and puja ravi got wins at their respective flights. Bella Kuzminsky pulled out a 6-3, 2-6, 10-5 victory as well. Ariella Ferguson had a fantastic match but fell in a third set tiebreaker. Lila Costello and Sophia Zholob also won a set but lost in three sets. The team is now 6-3-2 and will play #8 Grosse pointe south at home tomorrow.
