West Bloomfield Varsity Softball dropped Game 1 of Thursday’s doubleheader against Southfield, 14-0. Jaelynn Randolph got the start in the circle for the Lakers, striking out four over three innings of work. Southfield’s offense was led by Hester and Bell, who each collected two hits, while Hester and Larkin drove in two runs apiece. Southfield also applied pressure on the bases throughout the game, recording multiple stolen bases.
