West Bloomfield Varsity Softball fell to Southfield in Game 2 of Thursday’s doubleheader, 16-0. Mya Porter started in the circle for the Lakers, working three innings. Despite the final score, West Bloomfield played a clean defensive game and did not commit an error. Joy Jones led the team defensively with four chances in the field. Southfield was led offensively by London Adams, who collected four hits, while Crain and Croxton each drove in two runs. Southfield also showed patience at the plate, drawing 10 walks in the contest.
