The Lakers traveled to Berkley Monday for their final league series and came away with the game one victory 10-3. Connor Strong started on the bump, going 4 1/3 innings, allowing 3 hits and 3 runs while striking out 5, and Jonathan Bowers tossed the final 2 2/3 , giving up just hits while fanning 1. Logan Scheidt took the first pitch of the day deep to left center for his second home run of the year, Bryce Tillman-Jones reached base 4 times with 3 singles and a walk, scoring twice and driving in 2 runs, Mason Ermis went 2-4 with a run scored, Connor Smith finished 1-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI, Lewis Donaldson was 1-5 with a run scored and Finley Carter had an RBI. The second game of the three game series is Tuesday at Berkley.
