The WBHS Girls JV Tennis team participated in the Macomb County JV Tournament on 5/9/26. The team played amazing taking home several medals! The team was determined to end their season on a high note as they fought hard, played smart, & came away with numerous victories throughout the day. Winners for the day were: #1 Doubles Casey Forstner & Emmaline played smartly taking 3rd place. #2 Doubles Winnie Washington & Kamora Gray played aggressively & came in 4th place. #3 Doubles Maya Theobald & Saniya Pokle played tough & took 3rd place. #4 Doubles Colette Clarke & Diya Sheth were victorious & came in 2nd place. #5 Doubles Ananya Gupte & Tiana Djokic fought hard & came in 3rd place. #7 Doubles Neissa Marcelin & a sub from Utica HS won the Backdraw Championship for their flight. #8 Doubles Angela Jarjis & Mariah Mack played their best & won 3rd place. #6 Doubles Megan Russell & Madison Jackson played some great matches but unfortunately lost in the Backdraw Championship. The team came in 4th place overall in the tournament. What a great way to end their 2026 Tennis season!!
