The regular season finale along with senior night took place Tuesday with the Lakers welcoming in the Bobcats from Grand Blanc and prevailing with a 5-3 victory over. Branislav Stojanovski started on the bump, going 2 innings, allowing just 1 hit and 1 run and striking out one. Connor Smith tossed the next three to earn the win, striking out 3 and allowing no runs and Jonathan Bowers came in relief to earn the save , allowing just one hit and fanning 1. Offensively, Logan Scheidt and Stojanovski each tallied 2 hits, Lewis Donaldson collected his first varsity home run and Jalen Morgan had a hit to send off the seniors. Next up- District Game at WB against Waterford Mott on Saturday.
