The freshman Lakers won a blowout versus Dearborn Fordson High 42 to 0. The Lakers offense was led by their quarterback Dante Britton with 2 rushing touchdowns (7yds,17yds) and 1 passing touchdown. He ended the night with 100 yards rushing and over 200 yards passing, he threw to multiple receivers of Tavon Magee, Michael Thomas, Jayce Burnett, Major Lee, and Jace Vining. The longest pass of the day was to Justin Miller for 78 yards and a touchdown. The defense was anchored by Jace Vining filling out the stat sheet with 3 tackles for loss ,1 sack, and 9 total tackles.
