The West Bloomfield High School JV Football team won its contest against the Troy High School Colts by a score of 21-0. The defense dominated the game recording 5 sacks and preventing the Troy offense from scoring a single point. The Laker's first score was recorded by Kente Rosser Jr. who plucked a tipped punt, by Tyler Ivory, out of the air and returned it for a 20 yard TD. Aaron Maffucci converted the extra point to give the Lakers a 7-0 lead. Daniel Armour recorded 2 TD receptions from Ojore Hall and Myron Lanehart and the Lakers converted 1 of 2, two point conversions. Braylen Ammons led the Lakers in rushing with 129 yards on 12 carries. On defense Mike Carter led the team in tackles with Aaron Maffucci recording 2 sacks on the Troy QB. This is the second shutout for the Laker's defense this season. Next up for the Lakers is a home game vs Rochester Adams on 9/10/26. The team is looking to avenge last years loss.
