The WBHS Equestrian team currently sits in 3rd place for District 1 after a strong showing across multiple events in their 1st meet of the season. Here are the highlights from the weekend: 2-Man Speed Event: Ophelia Cramer (Senior) and Evangeline Cramer (Junior) took 1st place. Flag Race Speed Event: Ophelia Cramer placed 1st, with Sophia Sanchez (Sophomore) placing 2nd. Cloverleaf: Ophelia Cramer placed 2nd, with Sophia Sanchez placing 3rd. Western Fitting/Showing: Evangeline Cramer placed 3rd. Saddle Seat Fitting/Showing: Evangeline Cramer placed 3rd, and Sophia Sanchez placed 4th. Hunt Seat Fitting/Showing: Sophia Sanchez placed 5th. These results reflect the hard work and dedication our riders have put in throughout the preseason, and we're proud of how they represented WBHS. Looking ahead, the team will compete in their second meet of the season this coming weekend at Milford High School's Equestrian Field, with events starting at 8:00 AM.
