West Bloomfield Lakers Fall to Birmingham Groves, 4–1 The West Bloomfield Lakers boys varsity soccer team suffered a 4–1 defeat on the road against Birmingham Groves. The Lakers battled hard in the first half and went into halftime trailing 2–1. Despite their efforts to get back into the game, Groves added two more goals in the second half to secure the victory.
