West Bloomfield faced Farmington in another suspenseful matchup that kept everyone locked in from start to finish. The Lakers ultimately fell 3–2, but the performance showed heart, fight, and strong stretches of disciplined play. Moreover, the team was short with 6 players including the goalie. Farmington struck twice in the second quarter, taking a 2–0 lead, but Lakers refused to fold. The Lakers came out of halftime with renewed energy, and Evelyn delivered slicing through the defense and scoring in the third quarter, putting Lakers right back on track. In the fourth quarter, Sydney stepped up and helped the team equalize, finishing a crucial play that brought the game to 2–2 and shifted momentum toward the Lakers. Lakers pushed hard, created chances, and kept Farmington under pressure, but missed opportunities in the final minutes proved costly. Farmington capitalized late, scoring their third goal and sealing the match. A strong effort, a suspenseful battle, and another game full of lessons that will fuel the Lakers’ growth moving forward.
