West Bloomfield faced Grand Blanc at home in a tough matchup that ended 3–0, with one of the goals coming from an unfortunate own goal. Even with the loss, the Lakers showed dominance, control, and nonstop effort throughout the game. With the team missing their regular goalkeeper again, Sofia Tappe, who usually plays full back, stepped in as goalie and delivered an outstanding performance- fearless, composed, and fully committed. Emma held strong on defense, clearing danger and keeping WB organized under pressure. The Lakers created multiple scoring chances and controlled long stretches of the match, but missed opportunities in the circle kept them from converting. The opponents played rough, but WB stayed disciplined and focused. Evelyn, Becca, Ardin, and Ava, along with the captains, showed tremendous dedication pressing, recovering, and pushing the attack forward. The Lakers played with heart, maturity, and dominance. The effort was clear, the growth is real, and the hope remains high. We are not giving up, we will return with improvements, stronger and more connected. Go Lakers! Coach Z
